Together, The Fairness Project and its supporters accomplished so much in 2020. As we head into the new year, we want to take a moment to celebrate our successes and renew our commitment to deliver social, economic, and racial justice for all Americans.
We won all four of our campaigns in 2020, expanding life-saving health care to more than 430,000 people in Missouri and Oklahoma, won the first-ever paid family and medical leave ballot initiative impacting 2.6 million Coloradans, and ended predatory payday lending in Nebraska.
We couldn’t have done it without the hard work of all our grassroots partners and dedicated volunteers. In 2020 alone, our volunteers completed more than three million calls and texts to voters, and nearly 10,000 volunteer shifts. And it made a huge difference!
In our first four years, The Fairness Project has won 20 campaigns that have changed the lives of more than 17 million people and put more than $16 billion back in the pockets of workers.
We look forward to the future and continuing to cut through partisanship and special interests that have stalled progress on progressive issues for far too long. Together, we will deliver on the issues that matter most to Americans.
