As a Development Associate, Rachel assists in all aspects of the fundraising strategy, design and implementation at The Fairness Project. Rachel is a talented prospect researcher and looks forward to building the donor pipeline and curating exceptional donor experiences at the Fairness Project in 2020.
Before joining The Fairness Project, Rachel was a Development Associate at MSI United States, one of the largest global nonprofits championing reproductive healthcare. There, she helped streamline prospecting procedures and fundraising strategy for the individual philanthropy portfolio and increase unrestricted gifts by over 136% in one year.
Prior to serving at MSI United States, Rachel worked at RAINN as a Sexual Assault Response Coordinator and at Planned Parenthood as an Advocacy Fellow. She is passionate about women’s equality, racial justice, economic justice and LGBTQ+ rights.
Rachel received a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies and Women, Gender and Sexuality Studies from Portland State University in 2016. Outside of work, Rachel enjoys photography, traveling, cooking, puzzling and spending time with her family.
