Director of Development

Danielle is an experienced development professional with over ten years of expertise working with mission-driven nonprofit and political organizations. Before coming to The Fairness Project, Danielle served as the Associate Director of Development at the Brookings Institution where she secured major gifts, helped manage donor strategy, and grew a national network of young philanthropists and mid-level donors.

After starting her development career working with underserved communities, Danielle became deeply invested in the impact that could be made through political fundraising. Since then, she has served as Finance Director of a U.S. Congressional campaign and has advised, built, and executed funding strategies for multiple political organizations. Prior to Brookings, she joined the civic tech start-up, NationBuilder, providing guidance on digital advocacy and philanthropy to many of the largest nonprofits and political campaigns in the country.

Danielle is a New Jersey native and a graduate of American University. She currently resides in Washington, DC.
