The Fairness Project is proud to announce Naomi Aberly is the most recent addition to the organization’s executive board.

“It is a huge honor to have Naomi join The Fairness Project’s executive board,” said Jonathan Schleifer, Executive Director. “Her activism, experience, and dedication, particularly her leadership on women’s rights and health care, make her an inspiring and critical addition to our team as we head into the next cycle.”

Naomi Aberly is a longtime progressive activist and former board chair of the Planned Parenthood Federation of America. She has played a central role in policymaking and fundraising at the state and federal levels for more than fifteen years. Aberly served as member of President Obama’s National Finance Council, was a founding member of Annie’s List in Texas and Invest to Elect Boston. In addition, Aberly served on the board of directors of the State Innovation Exchange.

“I’ve been proud to support The Fairness Project’s unwavering focus on winning campaigns that change lives cycle after cycle, and I am excited to join their leadership team. Their work to expand access to health care to almost one million Americans and raise wages for almost 10 million people has had an incredible impact on the lives of countless women and families. I look forward to working together and empowering American families by putting critical issues directly before voters at the ballot box,” said Aberly following her decision to join the board.

Aberly is also involved in numerous Texas-based organizations, including Battleground Texas, Planned Parenthood, Texas Votes, and the Texas Future Project, among others. She is a graduate of Amherst College and currently resides in Boston after more than two decades in Dallas.
