Growing economic inequality and a persistent gender and racial income gap has gone unaddressed for far too long. While after tax income for the wealthiest Americans has skyrocketed, lower-income workers have seen their wages remain stagnant as the cost of living continued to increase. CEOs now earn 300 times more than the average worker, and the federal minimum wage hasn’t increased in more than a decade, leaving far too many full time workers living in poverty.

Since 2016, The Fairness Project has helped working families take matters into their own hands, winning minimum wage increases in nine states, benefiting nearly 10 million workers.
